Crap Item #7: Don't worry, I'm optional

Yeah, so last year (my junior year) I played trumpet in pep band.  
And look how badly I was needed--without me, there was no one
to play the Optional trumpet part in Louie Louie!  How incredibly
special I feel now that I've been deemed Optional.

Yes, in fact, I have come to rescue the song from certain doom.  
Without my Optional part, the melody's background would most
definitely spiral downhill, being all low brass (except for, you know,
me).  So I'm different and special.  And optional.  Yay for me.

Well, I would write more stuff about how it's special to be optional,
but like, my mom needs to use the computer now.  Dude.  It sucks
when your own computer isn't online.  It's pretty much obsolete,
huh?

Anyway...what was I talking about?  Oh yeah, how my Optional
trumpet part is so direly needed.  And here it is:
